Louie’s Summer Jams 2.0

It’s summertime in the Chi, so you know that means I’m due to put together another playlist of some of my favorite old school rap songs. If you remember last year’s version, then you’ll see a number of the same tracks. There are some new ones mixed in, but who likes going to a concert only to see the band play all new shit? Nobody. That is one of my biggest pet peeves about going to see any band play. If I wanted to solely hear all of your new stuff, I would have downloaded your new CD on iTunes and saved myself the hassle of sitting in traffic. This list isn’t for everyone, but for those who have similar great taste in music as well as those that detest the pure silliness on the radio today. No, I’m not referring to 87.7. That is the only station worth a fuck in Chicago these days.
