He possesses the ability to deliver outstanding lyrics as well as the insane ability to send a message unlike so many rappers who can’t wait to tell you about their cars and bitches. Nas is charismatic and has a flow that makes him easy to understand and listen to. He has long been a personal favorite of mine, and not just because of his beef with Jay-Z. When “The Message” popped up on Pandora the other day, I knew who would be the throwback artist of the week.
