You can safely say that Jesus and Tim Tebow are homeboys. Tebow did it again Sunday night, winning the game in a very short 11-second overtime to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 29-23. I was pretty impressed I must say. I thought the Steelers were takin’ the cake… but I’m glad TT prevailed. I personally am not a fan of Big Ben & how he treats women, and was glad it ended the way it did. Where are all of those terrible towels today?
So now the Broncos are headed to Gillette Stadium Saturday to play Tom Brady and the Patriots. Just to make note; the Broncos had the worst record of the 12 teams to make the playoffs. However, the Patriots haven’t won a playoff game since defeating the Chargers in 2008. The Patriots already bludgeoned the Broncos, 41-23, back in the regular season in a game Brady treated like a Super Bowl. Now, the guy with 3 rings will be forced to hear about Tebow’s performance vs the Steelers all week. You think that won’t motivate the best QB of our generation? Please. I would be nervous if I were Tebow. He should start praying like…now. Brady is not only one of the greatest QB’s ever, he’s also one of the game’s best competitors. He’ll view Saturday night’s game as a way to reinforce his greatness. Unlike Gisele, I can’t get in his head, but I do know he lives for this kind of moment. You think Tebow’s the man, huh? Okay, choke on this. That’s his mentality.
So let’s take a look at Brady vs Tebow, shall we. First of all, Brady’s got 10 years of experience on Tebow. Brady’s played in four Super Bowls (won 3)… Tebow’s got none under his jockstrap. Brady has two Super Bowl MVP Awards; Tebow… a whopping zero. Brady’s been selected to seven Pro Bowls; invited to 8… Tebow: zip, zilch, nada. Brady holds an abundance of regular season and postseason records; Tebow’s got a year in the league. I’d say it’s pretty even between the two, wouldn’t you? The one “up” Tebow has over Brady is JC. JC is a powerful source to be tight with… he helps those out of the most hopeless of situations… and to me hopeless is a perfect word to describe the Broncos chance of winning against the Patriots Saturday; but you never know…
My pick: 38-21 Patriots.
