It must be nice to be a Don like Paterno. Paul Cicero ain’t got shit on Old Pa, that’s for sure. It must be nice to be able to sit comatose in a press box to a record number of a head coaching wins, know that your long time defensive coordinator fondled boys & not feel the wrath of losing your job as Penn State’s AD & Vice President of the school now have. Regardless of what the senile bastard’s standing in Pennsylvania is, he needs to be fired…Now.
I don’t know about you, but the only right thing to do here is whack anybody who ever knew anything about Jerry Sandusky molesting & anally raping boys in the Penn State football showers. If Old Pa survives this, then you college sports fanatics will be given another example of just how corrupt the shit show known as college athletics really is. Yes, I’m, again, looking at you– the dopes who claim college sports are pure & innocent compared to the ruthless professional leagues. Where are the “they play the game the right way,” and “coaches aren’t as vicious as their pro counterparts” fools at? You’re in hiding just like Old Pa is. Either that, or he’s being revived again. Who knows?
If you haven’t heard, this rape occurred in 2002. Sandusky (charged with 40 child sex crimes) retired in ’99, but was allowed to run a boys camp (disgusting to think about) and still had an office in the football department. Are we supposed to believe Paterno didn’t have any idea that this was a pattern? Did he honestly believe that the ’02 rape that grad assistant Mike McQueary told him about was a one time deal? Not even the “college sports aren’t as dirty as the pros” douche juices are that dumb.
Here’s Paterno…
“If true, the nature and amount of charges made are very shocking to me and all Penn Staters,” Paterno said in a statement. “While I did what I was supposed to with the one charge brought to my attention, like anyone else involved I can’t help but be deeply saddened these matters are alleged to have occurred. . . . If this is true, we were fooled, along with scores of professionals trained in such things, and we grieve for the victims and their families. They are in our prayers.
“As my grand jury testimony stated, I was informed in 2002 by an assistant coach that he had witnessed an incident in the shower of our locker room facility. It was obvious that the witness was distraught over what he saw, but he at no time related to me the very specific actions contained in the Grand Jury report. Regardless, it was clear that the witness saw something inappropriate involving Mr. Sandusky. As Coach Sandusky was retired from our coaching staff at that time, I referred the matter to university administrators.”
What he should have done was use his clout to rid his program of this mess and be up front about the incident. He should have come out and revealed the child molesting Sandusky for the rat he was, and promise that nothing of the sort would ever again go on under his watch. He, of course, didn’t. Old Pa simply passed the information on to the AD to let him handle it. Using the Goodfellas reference again, Paul Cicero basically had Jimmy Conway handle it. As long as the Don’s hands are clean, no big deal. Just keep piling up those wins, right coach?
How do Paterno, McQueary, and everyone else who knew of Sandusky’s actions sleep at night? If I saw a boy getting molested in a shower by a guy 30 years older than me, I’d beat the ever living shit out of him right on the spot. And if I was in Paterno’s shoes, I would have let this be known and use it as a way to teach & inform people about the scum that walks this planet.
But no, you can’t expose that kind of bombshell and expect to land 5 star recruits. And that’s all that matters to pigs like Paterno and the rest of the college coaching degenerates. All that matters is getting your kid to come to their school so they can win games and make money off your kid’s talent. Paterno & the rest are nothing but hypocrites. And you can have Paterno’s 409 victories–I’m good. I’ll, instead, remember him for not exposing a child rapist because it would taint his own coaching legacy. But, yeah, professional sports are far more corrupt than college, right? That sound you hear is me laughing at all of those ass-bags who are delusional enough to think that way.
