D Rose is doing the unthinkable, he's making Adidas cool again...

Adidas is unveiling it’s new Derrick Rose commercial today that will promote Rose’s AdizERO 2.0 signature shoe. The 60 second spot highlights the quickest player in basketball. It also is a reminder for those who have forgotten Rose’s blend of athleticism, speed, power & aggressive style of play.

Big ups to Adidas for the idea of having Rose enter a bullring to take on various challengers that display his ungodly ability. And, you have to love the slow motion shots of the new shoe. It’s not a surprise that Rose emerges victorious in the spot, but it’s still sick to see him throw down a tomahawk dunk again. It feels like it’s been years, doesn’t it?

Damn you, Adidas. As if my hoops withdrawal wasn’t bad enough, now you throw this in my face. This lockout needs to end like…yesterday.
