The nWo Of The NBA

NBA fans now have a team they can hate and talk shit about. Rupaul Bosh & LeDiva James now get to be called Dwyane Wade's bitches.

When you grow up rooting for the greatest dynasty in the history of the NFL (80′s-90′s 49ers), I know what it’s like to have the team that everyone wants to beat. I had to hear it from everyone who watched the NFL. I thrived on it because, at the end of the day, my team was winning games and SuperBowls. Now that Miami Heat head slime ball, Pat Riley, signed LeDiva James and Rupaul Bosh to join con man, Dwyane Wade, the NBA now has the team everyone wants to hate. They are the Yankees and Cowboys on steroids. The way these 3 conniving spoiled bitches manipulated free agency puts them atop the list of teams you can’t wait to root against. They are the new version of the nWo, but not nearly as cool, cutting edge, or likable.

Flashback: When Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, & Kevin Nash formed the nWo in ’96, they took the wrestling world by storm. They were the biggest story in wrestling. They took power and ratings away from the WWE. They were hated by people in the business because they portrayed that they were sent from WWE to WCW to take over the company. It was more than frowned upon at the time. Hogan, Hall, & Nash had this idea planned for months. Hall & Nash left the WWE in the spring of ’96 and the plan came together quickly–kind of like how the 3 DB’igos planned their orgy.

When Rupaul Bosh said that the 3 clowns had this planned for months before catching himself, it shed light on just how they really put one over teams that wasted time recruiting them. What Bosh should have said was this was first talked about in Vegas 2006 when the 3 DB’igos first hatched the idea. They all signed 3 year extensions in addition to massaging each other after Team USA practices. Sure, things could have worked out differently this summer if Amare Stoudemire went to Miami first, but the fact that two of the supposed best players in the game ended up latching onto Dwyane Wade’s jock shows any NBA fan just how mentally weak MeBron and Rupaul are. There is good news, however. The nWo of the NBA is here for fans of every team, outside of that horrible sports town to despise. When the nWo was formed in July of ’96, they were hated by most wrestling fans. People loved seeing them lose. This Heat team will get every team’s best shot every night. For a team with a terrible bench, that’s going to spell doom no matter how great the “super” team may look on paper.

At the distasteful championship-like party the Heat had last Friday night(who the hell has a party like that before playing a game anyway?!), Wade said this is arguably the greatest trio in the history of the NBA. I’m glad Mr. South Beach said arguably. To put these three ahead of the likes of….

Jordan, Pippen, & Rodman

Bird, McHale, & Parrish or Dennis Johnson

Magic, Kareem, & Worthy or….

Wilt “The Stilt”, Elgin Baylor, & Jerry West is absolute basketball ignorance. Then again, I shouldn’t be mad or surprised at that rat who actually had people in Chicago believing he was considering coming “home” for family reasons. Wade was never coming to the Bulls and the fact he wasted the Bulls time twice in 30 hours goes to show he has learned how to be a professional scumbag from the king of scum, Pat Riley. Wade said he was tearing up thinking about how close he was to signing with the Bulls. Hey Dwyane, take your fake tears to Gabrielle Union’s crib. We don’t like you, want nothing to do with you, and wish you nothing but the worst. The only impressive thing you’ve done the past couple of months besides getting rolled in the 1st round of the playoffs was recruiting your lapdogs–for that you deserve praise. You’re now despised in your hometown….nice work.

Whoever came up with this shirt is a genius. The new nWo and especially LeDiva will see plenty of them next season.

My feelings on LeBron James have been made clear over the past several days, but I can’t get past the fact that the games most talented player all but admitted he doesn’t want to be “the man.” Ric Flair used to say….”To be the man….you gotta beat the man.” What LeBron did was admit that he can’t handle the pressure of carrying a team to the title. For him to say that he feels relieved to know he doesn’t have to score 30 every night is an embarrassment. This is the same freak of nature that averaged 38-8-8 against Orlando two years ago in the playoffs. Now he can’t handle the pressure of being the alpha dog? Now he’s willing to throw away his legacy just to say he’s playing with his boys? What a mental midget this guy is. He not only has killed his brand and image, he’s forever out the discussion of the greatest players of all-time. As a guy who loves the NBA, I hate seeing that. I don’t care if they planned this in ’06 in Vegas or at the Beijing Olympics, he should know his place in the league and his place in history. Even if the Heat win multiple titles, it won’t mean as much. They will be viewed as a team that should have won. Kind of like when “Hollywood” Hogan would win matches because Hall & Nash were ringside helping him out. It just won’t mean the same.

For a guy looking to escape pressure, LeBron made the wrong choice. When the Heat don’t win the title next June, people will look at LeBron. They won’t look at Wade because he’s already proven he could be the best player on a title team. The pressure will mount as the seasons go on for MeBron. When he looks back on this “decision”, even if he wins rings, he’ll see that his legacy won’t match up to Michael’s and Kobe’s. He will forever be viewed as the guy who took the shortcut to get what he wanted. He’ll sit back one day and regret this decision asking himself “why am I not in the Kobe or Michael discussion?” Well Queen, you won’t be in the discussion because you decided to piggy back the leader of the new nWo. These are the decisions people make when they have their boys from high school running their career.

Quick MJ angle: I was happy to hear Michael Jordan said what most feel about LeBron’s decision…..It was a puss move. Could you imagine ’89 Jordan saying “You know, I can’t beat this Pistons team so I’m just going to go to the Lakers and team up with Magic.” Anyone who would think that would happen is an imbecile. Know this…LeBron will feel left out when the league, fans, and executives start praising Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose as the future of the league, and are lauded for “getting it.” How will he feel when Wade is taking & making the last shot? How will he feel when Wade receives the loudest cheers and post game acolades? He’ll feel what we all know, that this was a career defining mistake.

Chris Bosh is a good player. Great player or superstar? Um no, sorry. Can you really be labeled a great player if you’ve led your team(Raptors) to the lottery 5 times? Can you be considered a superstar if you’ve won a total of 3 playoff games in 7 seasons? Wade’s proclamation that this is the, arguably, the greatest trio ever assembled is squashed immediately with Bosh in the mix. Bosh has made 1 2nd team all NBA, his career win-loss record is 211-320, and has never made an all defensive team. This is a superstar? Oh yea, and he has made it clear that he refuses to play center. Anything else, Rupaul?

Now that the 3 douche bags have joined forces, it gives fans a team to hate. I loved hating the Cowboys of ’92-’96, ’95-’98 Packers, the 90′s Knicks, the 80′s Pistons, and any St. Louis Cardinals team. I’m glad the new nWo has been formed because I know they won’t beat the Lakers next June, and we’re a long lockout away from them winning anything. Once the lockout is over and the salary cap is greatly reduced, the rules will drastically change. Then, all of these “experts” who are blowing Pat Riley right now can call me. Until then, root for teams like the Bulls and OKC Thunder. The “Hollywood” team is here, it’s just too bad they aren’t nearly as cool as the original. The 3 DB’igos don’t have anything on Hogan, Hall, and Nash.
